Do you find it difficult to discard something that’s worn, superfluous or cluttering the place up?
The patio garden with all its pots has looked stunning for weeks. The regular deadheading of plants prolongs their flowering season. However, I was finding it a tedious occupation and the flowers were slowly diminishing in size. One hot sunny afternoon six pots were removed from the display. The remaining plants were reorganised, I had less work to do, and the final result was very pleasing. One thing I have noticed is that the plants in the early stages of flowering have taken pride of place. We need courage to remove the old and make room for the new.
