In Joshua 9 the Israelites fail to seek the counsel of the Lord. They are tricked into making a covenant. God was able to use the situation, as we can see in Joshua 10. We can get a sense of what God is wanting as we journey with Him. We can make mistakes along the way. Ultimately we have to ask, is this what the Lord wants?

July 17, 2022 - The Sunday talk was delivered live by Tim during the service. He shared the following thoughts during the meeting:
On an early morning visit to Southwold Tim had watched the sun rise. The ebb and flow of the tide reminded him that our times are in God's hands and of God's heart for us, of His love and His peace. As individuals and as a church the Lord has called us to a work - we have to be thorough and stick with it to get the job done. There is peace in doing the work the Lord has called us to.
