We are a group of committed Christians in Halesworth, Suffolk who believe that church should be a life-changing place where hope, trust and acceptance are the norm. The fellowship is composed of people from many walks of life who have made a commitment to work out our faith in Jesus Christ together.
We believe the essence of life is relationships - firstly with the Lord, then outwards from there with others and we believe that the Bible has a lot to say about the importance of good and healthy attitudes that help in the development of those relationships. We believe that church is a group of people who personally know God, who have felt his great, extravagant love for them and who have therefore learned to trust again. And because they can trust and pass on that love to others they can have hope that other relationships in their lives will become deep and meaningful.
We subscribe to the statement of faith of the Evangelical Alliance and endeavour to be practical in the application of God's Word so our everyday lives reflect something of the Lord and his glory.
As a church we have members who are experienced in counselling, practical help and visiting support. We have also produced materials covering many areas of life e.g. marriage, bringing up children, stress, depression and ME/ CFS. For details of specific issues click here.
